Common Questions

Everything you should know before applying.

Below are the questions most frequently asked by prospective Reserve clients. For confidential matters, our custody officers are reachable at any hour.

01

Who can become a Reserve client?

Membership is open to private individuals, jewelers, dealers, family offices, and institutions that satisfy our KYC and source-of-wealth verification. All applications are reviewed by our custody committee within 7–14 business days.

02

Where are the physical vaults located?

Reserve operates flagship facilities in Zurich, Geneva, London, and Singapore. The exact street addresses, structural specifications, and access protocols are disclosed only under NDA to qualifying clients.

03

How are my assets insured?

Every asset is insured for full replacement value through a dedicated specie syndicate at Lloyd's of London. Coverage is all-risk and includes theft, mysterious disappearance, war, and political violence with no exclusions.

04

Can I withdraw my assets at any time?

Yes. Tier 01 requires 48-hour notice; Tier 02 and above receive priority 24-hour access. Withdrawals are subject to multi-party biometric authorization and identity verification at the facility.

05

What asset classes are accepted?

Diamonds and colored gemstones, allocated precious metals (gold, platinum, silver, palladium), luxury timepieces, and strategic documents including deeds, bearer bonds, and rare manuscripts.

06

What does the digital client portal provide?

A real-time inventory of every asset, GIA and appraisal documents, insurance policy status, transaction history, secure messaging with your custody officer, and appointment booking for vault visits.

07

Is my activity in the portal logged?

Yes. Tamper-evident, append-only audit logs record every login, device, browser, IP, and access attempt. These logs are visible to you in real time and are reviewed by our compliance team on a continuous basis.

08

How is my data protected?

AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, hardware-backed key custody, and a separation of client identity data from inventory data on independent infrastructure. The Reserve is SOC 2 Type II and PCI-DSS attested.
